Construction Industry is a high hazard industry that involves a wide range of work activities and tasks related to demolition, excavation, erection construction, and other large scale jobs. Construction workers carry out many activities that may expose them to high hazards, such as falling from height, exposure to high noise heavy duty machinery, being struck by heavy construction equipment, electrocutions, dust exposure etc. While most of these accidents are preventable, work-related accidents and /or exposures can cause serious injuries and or ill health. The construction safety training program provides information to the employees and can also assist the employer in detecting new risks.
