DNV GL Certified Food Safety Legal Requirement and the PAS 220 Training

This training course has been designed to create General awareness on the broad outline of latest Indian Food Safety Legislation i.e. Food Safety and Standard Act’ 2006 among the food industry people. This is relevant to food business operators involved in all steps of the food supply chains-be it manufacturing or processing, storage/ warehousing, Transportation, distribution or Retail out-lets. Further to this there are specific modules under developments for all the links in the supply chain for the applicability of this Legislation and how the organization could meet these requirements in terms of infrastructure and implementation of Food safety management system.  Since this FSSA’2006 is applicable to all the Food Business operators-small, medium and large, the awareness is very much in need at the present scenario.

Course highlights 

This course details about the Food Safety and Standard Act’2006, the FSS Rules and the Regulations made under this act. The course is for 2 days to include all the relevant aspects of the subject mentioned. Where ever-required, pictorial presentations have been included. For active participation in this training program, few exercises have been included. Hopefully it should prove useful to the participants. The course also includes an examination at the end of training for evaluating effectiveness of the training.
