Environment protection and management today is faced with key issues of compliance and enforcement. In the context of India, it is being increasingly realized that the insufficient capacity at various levels to deal with environmental problems is the root cause of environment degradation. This capacity needs to be strengthened by knowledge sharing and training of the stakeholders involved in the protection and management of environment. The training programs primarily focuses on sharing knowledge and training on environmental policy and legal framework so that the legal issues are not raised.
