DNV GL Launches First-of-its-Kind Certificate Course for “Infection Control Champion”

DNV GL India recently launched a Certificate Course for Infection Control Champion: a unique virtual course which brought participants face to face with doctors and experts in the field.

After over 3 months of lockdown, industries have begun to restart business, some despite considerable risks, with due preparedness & by establishing infection risk management processes. This necessitates having key personnel with significant knowledge of the virus itself, various risks, it's impact and safeguarding measures, in order to re-open in a safe and sustainable manner ensuring confidence of all stakeholders.

To address this need of the hour, DNV GL Business Assurance India launched and successfully conducted the first training on "Infection Control Champion" on 25-26 July aiming to provide credible and reliable information to professionals from various backgrounds who could play a pivotal role in shaping their organization's infection risk policy and tackle infection risks in any type and size of institution.

Participants were trained by an eminent panel of virology experts, doctors, infectious disease specialists, microbiologists, experts in PPE, experts in disinfection solutions and management system experts like Dr. Devendra Mourya (Former Director, National Institute of Virology); Dr. Ameet Dravid (Jehangir Hospital), Dr. Dileep Andhare (Occupational Health Physician); Dr. Mrudul Dravid (Prof of Microbiology), Dr. Nishad Dravid (Flint Innovations), Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta (Intrust-Consulting and Hygiea), Suman Ghosal (DNV GL) and Jevanand Rajaram (DNV GL).
