Business+Assurance+India+carries+out+its+first+public+risk+management+course

One day classroom-based public course providing an introduction to the ISO 31000 Risk Management standard was successfully conducted by Business Assurance India at New Delhi on 30th Jun 2011.

The risk management foundation course which is aimed to help participants to become familiar with the key elements and application of the ISO 31000 standard was attended by notable participants from various industries, including representatives from Maruti, EPC Co., Technip, Defence Engineering, and DRS Group.

“We are happy that our first ISO 31000 risk management foundation course was well received by participants,” says Sumanesh Banerjee, Trainer and Head Sustainability & Business Excellence (North India), adding, “We received positive and constructive feedback from participants who expressed interest in doing a more comprehensive course with us.”

“Looking at the interest that this introductory course has generated, we plan to do more detailed risk management programs in the future which will equip participants to perform risk assessments in their own organisations based on a combination of existing DNV Risk Management framework and the ISO 31000,” says Sumanesh.

The next ISO 31000 Risk management foundation course will be conducted in Mumbai on July 27th 2011.
