Moreover, various solutions & industry best practices were discussed at the conference, with the basic ambition to empower smooth implementation of MLC 2006 in their respective organisation. “Very excited with the opportunity presented to us by Lloyd's List, we were all geared up to present our MLC expertise to the maritime fraternity, said N. Effective sessions
The session by DNV was delivered by Country Manager, DNV Indonesia, Pawan Sahni, who is a part of the DNV MLC core team since 2008 and who also comes with wide experience in Ships in Operations (SiO) and Newbuilding. Happy with the combined and coordinated support from DNV colleagues, Pawan says that, "Putting our best foot forward, we gave attendees a wider overview on MLC."
Adding he said, "We received encouraging response from attendees, who consequently expressed their interest for more detailed and up to date information on progress related to MLC 2006.”
Venkateswaran concluded, "All in all, the MLC conference was positive for DNV and looking at the demand for information and updates on MLC in India, we plan to host and organize such workshops in future, notably catering to the Indian Maritime market."
